Cottam Prestige Fullered Concave Steel Horseshoes for dressage, eventing, showjumping or hunting.

We surveyed the shape of the hooves of over 1000 horses. We then used this shape as the pattern for our New Ideal Shoes.

Shoes are manufactured from completely new fullered concave sections, which are rolled slightly wider than normal for extra cover.

The New Ideal Shoes have been given a special smooth - no rough or sharp edges- similar to hand forged competition shoes.

Symmetrical shape with strong toe form.
Nail holes stamped in the ares of the shoe which will utilize the strongest part of the hoof.
Extra nail holes in larger sizes to increase choice and avoid weak or damaged areas of the hoof.
Increased pitch and courseness of nail holes from heel to toe for a really secure hold.
Wider than normal section with upright heels gives maximum support.
Toe clipped fronts.

Shaped either left or right for fitting with minimal alteration.
Heel nail holes finish at the widest part of the hoof.
Toe shape is bolder and safed off. Nail holes allow shoe to be set futher back to assist breakover and reduce overreach damage.
Wider than normal section and upright heels give maximum support.
Inside branch shorter and safed off for added safety.
